A POET NO LONGER
By the poet formerly known as LawRouge
The sun rises at dawn and sets at dusk
The moon can be seen at night
Sometimes
That is all
Words have specific meanings
Nothing behind them
Nothing between them
To use words carelessly is to render them without meaning
The vagabond has stopped wandering
Has seen the light
Has stopped making something out of nothing
There is no hidden hand winding up the cosmos
Like a child with a clockwork toy
No mystery to be found
In a communion with nature
If you walk in the rain you get wet
That’s all
If you tiptoe in the first snows of winter you get cold
Nothing more
And these are the words of
The poet no longer
