Well, nothing out of the ordinary for this bear; just a meteoric political rise, homeland adventures, and a near space misadventure. Fitzroy remains on top form in this second instalment of stories.

No dictator is more unforgiving that the truth.

It’s a round the world trip for Fitzroy and Tuffty; their unlikely adventures taking them as far as Mongolia and Russia, before being forcibly repatriated. They return to a Mews family, desperate to live normal lives, but under constant threat from ursine, human, and even vegetable foe. 

Against this backdrop, new characters emerge, new stories are told, and the family face the world with humour, optimism, and fortitude.

A heavy atmosphere, the first rumble of thunder, like it or not the deluge will surely follow…

New and old threats make for a turbulent year at the Mews. Are Mum and Dad drinking too much coffee, are we now seeing the real Fitzroy, who is Peter Gruffty and what's his game.
